Singer was born on 26 November 1986, on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California. She is the daughter her father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. At the age of six, her family and moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey. The school she attended was Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. Then she attended Catholic University, where she received a degree in architecture. The violin was first played at age 4 and was referred to as Violin Girl. Her performances led to being called Violin Girl. Also, she taught children in within the community on how to play the violin. In the year 19, she enrolled in her sixth American Idol season and performed in the only Free, 1976. She was eliminated at the 16th spot. She has also performed several other songs like The Christmas Song (2009) as well as Out for Blood (2010). She also appeared on a few shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live! Daily Mail reported that on the 21st of November, 2019, she was given a sentence of nearly four years of imprisonment for conspiracy to sell the drug fentanyl. In July, the singer pleaded to having at least 400 grams of fentanyl and intending to sell the drug.
